Description
ok, this photo was very lucky. On our way to the Etosha National Park we crossed the railway exactly once...and just at that moment one of the rare trains in Namibia came around the corner. Just enough to grab the camera and stand at the side of the road. If there would have been some more time, I would have climbed on the pickup truck, then there would have been some more height.
The TransNamib Class 33 472 was delivered between 1968 and 1970 and corresponds to a GE U20C. Groofontain is the biggest village in the area and a local economic center.
